"Happiness is not something you postpone for the future, it is something you design for the present" Jim Rohn

Things will get better. This is what we tell ourselves quite often. We hope for more money, a better job, a bigger home or to lose weight. We feel sadness, distress or even despair when things are not going the way that we would like. We find within ourselves reasons for not being happy. Many times, the reason for our unhappiness is because of the unrealized fact that we are in control of our own feelings. We are in control of our own attitudes and how we chose to handle circumstances and situations that may arise in our lives.
The key to living a full and complete life is not waiting for things to occur before you can find joy and happiness. This must be found within yourself. If you are looking for that perfect job or position, be happy and do the best work in the job that you have now. Doing this will prepare you for your next job. Spend time working hard on yourself, learning a new skill or enhancing your current skills.
In life we will experience success and failures. As I state in my book, Vessel Of Steel, even when we fail, this is not this time to give up. Having failures in life is a learning experience and you must reflect back to that particular situation to understand the lesson that was taught. Life lesson.
As we come to the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, reflect back at your experiences and study the lessons that were taught to you. Make a commitment and a promise not to wait and put off being happy. Know that things will work out for the best because of your planning and will to succeed and what ever goals you set.
    Have a HAPPY New Year.
